As the second season of Call Me Bae gears up for its year-end release, Lisa Mishra is looking forward to returning to the series that has given her more than just an acting debut. Being a part of the Ananya Panday-led comedy reignited Mishra's love for acting.

"I was lucky to get a chance to make my acting debut with Call Me Bae. I had explored theatre in the past, and this project reignited that love for acting. It allowed me to learn on the job and understand what it takes to inhabit a character," said Mishra, who plays a news producer in the Prime Video offering.

For Mishra, a rewarding aspect was acting in and composing for the series. The actor, who created Yaara Tere Bin for the show, said, "Being involved in music and acting [helped] me understand different aspects of the process. As an actor, you're responding to the writing, the director's vision, and the performances around you. Music, meanwhile, plays a different role in shaping the story's emotional experience."
