Television actor Akanksha Chamola continues to make candid revelations about her personal life on Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. After confirming that she and husband Gaurav Khanna are heading for a divorce, the actor has now opened up about their relationship, making it clear that while there was no mistreatment, she would never seek marriage advice from him.

Akanksha Chamola says Gaurav Khanna never mistreated her

During the latest episode, Ram Kapoor shared the story of how he fell in love with his wife Gautami Kapoor while she was navigating the end of her first marriage. He recalled becoming her closest friend during a difficult phase before the two eventually realised they had feelings for each other.

Drawing parallels between Gautami's experience and Akanksha's situation, Ram asked her directly if Gaurav Khanna had ever mistreated her.

Akanksha simply smiled and shook her head, indicating that the actor had not been abusive or treated her badly.

Ram then remarked that Gaurav was "a good man" and even joked that if she ever needed marriage advice, "Gaurav is the best."

Akanksha, however, immediately shut down the suggestion, replying, "No, I will never take marriage advice from Gaurav." She chose not to elaborate further, prompting Ram to quickly move on from the subject.

The conversation then shifted to the challenges divorced women often face in society. Ram pointed out that many housing societies in India are reluctant to rent homes to single or divorced women because of social stigma.

Agreeing with him, Akanksha admitted, "This is the start of my problems after Lock Upp," hinting at the struggles she expects to face once the show ends.

Ram also praised her strong personality, saying she would need a partner who is secure enough to accept her individuality, while acknowledging that finding such a person may not be easy.

Akanksha and Gaurav Khanna got married in November 2016 after reportedly meeting during an audition. Their relationship made headlines recently after Akanksha revealed at the Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa premiere that the couple had been living separately for nearly a year and were heading towards divorce.

However, when Gaurav later appeared on the show to support her, he clarified that although they have separated, they are still legally married and have not yet filed for divorce.

While neither actor has shared details about what led to the split, Akanksha's latest remarks have once again put the spotlight on their relationship, with viewers closely following every new development on the reality show.
