'No contestant is bigger than the show': Riteish Deshmukh schools Yogesh Rawat in Lock Upp

The latest episode of Lock Upp witnessed a fiery confrontation as host Riteish Deshmukh slammed contestant Yogesh Rawat over his claim that the show's viewership dropped after his eviction and that the makers were forced to bring him back.

Yogesh, who recently re-entered the Netflix reality show after defeating Dheeraj Dhoopar in a comeback task, was seen boasting before fellow contestants Akanksha Choudhary, Ram Kapoor, Akanksha Chamola and Pamala. He claimed that after his elimination, fans started trending "No Yogesh, No Lock Upp," adding that the show's TRP declined, prompting the makers to bring him back.

His remarks did not go unnoticed. Entering the house, an upset Riteish confronted Yogesh over what he described as an arrogant attitude.

"I was listening from outside. What did you say? 'No Yogesh, No Lock Upp?' What do you think? That this show exists because of you?" Riteish asked.

Calling out Yogesh's version of events, the actor continued, "You said they threw me out, fans trended against it, the TRP dropped and they had to bring me back. Tumko maine nikala? Kya tumko Netflix ne nikala? Kisne nikala?" When the housemates replied that Dheeraj Dhoopar had eliminated him during a task, Riteish reminded Yogesh that his eviction was the result of the game's rules and not a decision made by the hosts or the streaming platform.

Yogesh attempted to defend himself, saying he was merely expressing how he felt after witnessing the support he received outside the house. However, Riteish remained unconvinced.

"When you say these things, you are talking about me, Farah Khan, Netflix and this show. We all heard the attitude with which you claimed the TRP fell and that you had to be brought back. You think this show needs you," Riteish said.

The confrontation reached its peak when the host declared, "Humein tumhari koi zarurat nahi hai, and I terminate you from this house right now. You have to be responsible for every word you speak."

The clash came just days after another heated exchange between Riteish and Yogesh, highlighting the growing tension between the two. With the reality show nearing its finale, the dramatic face-off has become one of the season's most talked-about moments, leaving contestants stunned and viewers divided over Yogesh's remarks and Riteish's stern response in Lock Upp.
