Lock Upp: Vinny Arora admits sending chits to Dheeraj Dhoopar, calls it an emotional mistake

On the latest episode of Lock Upp Sach Ya Sazaa, Dheeraj Dhoopar was pulled up after his family allegedly tried to secretly send him chits to improve his game. After jailer Riteish Deshmukh issued him a warning, netizens questioned the makers over why they didn't take strict action against the actor. Amid this, his wife, Vinny Arora, has finally admitted to sending the chits to Dheeraj and revealed the emotional reason behind it.

Vinny opened up about Dheeraj's health issues in a video. She said, "When Dheeraj was about to leave for the Lock Upp shoot, he was so unwell that he almost backed out. But he obviously did not want to let the makers down and wanted to stay true to his commitment. So, somehow he convinced himself, I convinced him, and we left for the shoot (sic)."

"Every time I used to watch the episode, I felt that he wasn't keeping well. He had these puffy eyes that he usually doesn't have. And I know when he is happy, when he is sad, and when he is sick. I can't prove it, but I felt it in my heart that he was not well. I knew that when he returned, he too would tell me that he was not feeling well (sic)," the actress added.

She opened up about son Zaid's visit and clarified, "When Zaid also got ill, it was a very difficult stage for me to deal with personally. Then, when I took Zaid to meet Dheeraj, I had to take a bag of essentials, and in that, I asked Dheeraj if he was okay or not. If he's okay, then give me a sign and play his game more actively. No outside information or strategy, nothing - just a wife who was concerned for her husband. It wasn't even his fault. It wasn't Dheeraj who was trying to cheat; I made an emotional mistake."

Dheeraj Dhoopar gets warning

During the episode, Riteish revealed that the production team had received information suggesting Dheeraj's family had allegedly attempted to send handwritten chits containing strategic advice for the game.

While Dheeraj Dhoopar apologised and assured everyone that this wouldn't be repeated, he also sent a message to his family urging them not to help him, saying he would play the game on his own.
