Taking Mirzapur, one of India's most popular streaming franchises, to theatres is a big moment for Rasika Dugal. But the transition comes with a new kind of pressure. The actor, who has played Beena Tripathi since the crime drama's first season in 2018, is admittedly nervous about taking the leap with Mirzapur: The Movie.

Rasika Dugal's last release was the Netflix film, ‘Kartavya', led by Saif Ali Khan

"I am feeling excited, but I'm also a little nervous for the first time in my life because it's a big film coming in theatres. There's already so much love for it that I hope we're able to nurture that love," she said.

At the same time, Dugal is aware that earning the audience's love again is a good problem to have. "[The nervousness] is a feeling I will have to live with. But these are good problems," she smiled.

Mirzapur: The Movie, led by Pankaj Tripathi, may also mark a new chapter in Dugal's relationship with the commercial side of her career. Of late, the actor has largely been seen on OTT platforms. Heading back to the big screen, she shared, "If this changes my relationship with commerce, it'll be a new aspect of my career and I will be happy to embrace it."
