Actress Shilpa Shinde made an emotional revelation on Lock Upp, opening up about her fractured relationship with her family and sharing how she was once forced to leave her own home. During a heartfelt conversation on the reality show, the television star reflected on the pain she has carried for years and admitted that she often feels like an orphan despite having a family.
Speaking candidly, Shilpa recalled how differences with her loved ones escalated to a point where she had to walk away from the house she considered her own. The actress said the experience left a lasting emotional impact, making her feel isolated and disconnected from those closest to her.

She revealed that while people often assume celebrities have perfect lives, they too go through deeply personal struggles behind closed doors.
The actress explained that disagreements within the family eventually reached a stage where she was asked to leave. According to Shilpa, it was heartbreaking to lose not just a home, but also the emotional bond she had hoped to preserve. She admitted that the memories of that phase continue to affect her even today.
She said, "Everyone keeps droning about family. People don't have a family but despite having one I'm still an orphan. I'm not doing this for any sympathy as I've said often I stay in a shelter home when I'm here. Initially it used to be my second home but now it's officially become my only house. It's been 3 years, I had a shoulder surgery, my brother got brainwashed by his wife and swayed by my brother, my mom on the 5th day of my surgery kicked me out of my own house. They intentionally created such circumstances where they attack myself respect and I chose to leave the house at 11 pm in the night neither my mom nor my brother stopped me from leaving."
Shilpa also spoke about learning to rebuild her life independently. She shared that the difficult chapter taught her resilience and pushed her to become emotionally stronger. While the pain has not completely disappeared, she said she has learned to accept certain realities and move forward.
Her confession left fellow contestants visibly emotional, with many offering words of comfort and support. The candid moment highlighted a vulnerable side of the actress that fans have rarely seen, moving beyond her public image as a successful television star.
