This Baisakhi, Saffron at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu invites Mumbaikars to celebrate the harvest festival with “Sucha Da Dhaba – Flavours of Amritsar,” a special pop-up that brings the authentic tastes and warm hospitality of Punjab to the city. The pop-up, led by guest Chef VP Singh, will be hosted till April 19. 

The concept of Sucha Da Dhaba -  Flavours of Amritsar draws inspiration from the vibrant food culture of Amritsar, and Singh, who brings with him the legacy of Kulcha Land, a fourth-generation iconic eatery from Amritsar known for its legendary kulchas and authentic Punjabi flavours.

The a la carte menu features Amritsari kulchas, rustic tandoor specialties, and comforting Punjabi gravies, celebrating the rich culinary heritage of Punjab. The experience begins with flavourful appetizers such as Paneer Kastoori Methi Tikka, Subz Seekh Kabab, and the succulent Amritsari Fish Tikka, alongside robust favourites like Kukkad de Kabab and Tandoori Boti Kebabs. The main course brings together soulful classics including Amritsari Butter Chicken, Dhaba Murgh, Mutton Patiala Hari Mirch, and comforting vegetarian staples like Baingan Bhartha, Punjabi Kadhi Pakora, and Amritsari Aloo Wadiyan, complemented by wholesome lentils such as Pindi Di Dal and Raseele Rajmah. No Punjabi feast is complete without freshly baked Amritsari Kulchas and Paneer Kulchas, best enjoyed with traditional accompaniments, followed by indulgent desserts like Gur Da Halwa and the rich, aromatic Amritsari Kheer, bringing the meal to a truly satisfying close

Baisakhi in Pune 
This April, Novotel Pune invites diners to indulge in the rich culinary heritage and festive fervour of Punjab with a specially curated Punjabi Food Festival – Baisakhi Celebration at The Square. Scheduled till April 25, the festival promises an immersive dining experience. 

Inspired by Punjabi dhaba-style cuisine and festive delicacies, the menu showcases an array of dhaba classics, tandoor specialties, hearty Punjabi comfort food, traditional festive desserts, and refreshing Punjabi beverages. Enhancing the experience further are interactive live food stations, including a sizzling tandoor counter serving tikkas and kebabs, an Amritsari kulcha station, a live jalebi counter, and a refreshing lassi bar offering traditional flavours.

Complementing the flavours is an engaging cultural atmosphere with Punjabi folk music, soft instrumentals, and lively Bhangra beats during peak hours.

Baisakhi in Bengaluru 
This Baisakhi, LOYA, Taj West End, Bengaluru, celebrates the harvest season with a specially curated menu inspired by Punjab’s most-loved festive flavours. 

The feast begins with Kachori Chaat, reminiscent of the kind of street-side indulgence that always finds its way into celebrations, before moving to Bharwan Kaare Kulche served with Pindi chole and fresh haldi-mooli,  a pairing that feels instantly nostalgic and deeply satisfying.
 
For mains, guests can savour Attari Murg and Chakki Paneer, best enjoyed with LOYA’s signature Amritsari Wadi Kulcha or the comforting Seviyan Wadi Pulao served with ori raita, the kind of flavours that bring back memories of family-style feasts and festive tables.
 
Dessert brings the celebration to a close with Doodh Jalebi paired with pista-chuara-kesar milk, or Him Paat, LOYA’s in-house churned ice cream.
