Long weekend celebrations 
This Independence Day, Agua Pool Bar & Café and JW Kitchen at JW Marriott Goa is hosting diners and travellers for a two-day celebration.

While you can start your party on August 14 and August 15 at the White Party Sundowner at Agua Bar & Café invites guests to dress in breezy whites and toast to freedom with signature cocktails by Bacardi and Campari, backed by upbeat DJ sets, an à la carte Italian menu, and sweeping views of the river at sunset.

On August 15, JW Kitchen is hosting an Independence Day Brunch, which is their patriotic culinary showcase spotlighting nostalgic Indian flavours, comforting tandoor classics, and tricolour-themed cocktails, for friends and family with live music and regional décor. 

If you are spending the weekend in the sunshine state, they also have a "JW Family Getaway" package.

Indulgent feast
For the I-Day weekend, Neighbors in Assagao is hosting a limited edition menu. Curated by Chef Konaark Sharma, the menu brings together simple ingredients and nostalgic touches that explore global flavours

The menu at Neighbors includes Cream Cheese Thecha, Burrata, Crispy Onion & Fig Relish Toast, The Red Beet Salad, Cloud Sun Rise Baked Eggs with Salsa Macha, Roasted Chipotle Fish before you end with a Pistachio Tiramisu.

While you enjoy the feast, sip on The Aperol Ritual, a spritz celebrating the favourite summer drink.

Indian flavours in Goa
This Independence Day, Novotel Goa Panjim is hosting a vibrant culinary experience that mirrors the evolution of India’s food story. 

Diners can begin with a comforting bowl from the live Burmese Laksa station, rich with textures and flavours, or sample crisp freshness from salads like Somtam, Quinoa with Edamame & Pineapple, and Smoked Chicken with Tofu. The chaat counter brings back childhood memories with favourites like Raj Kachori, Papdi Chaat, Aloo Tikki, and six flavours of paani including Guava and Cranberry. 

Comforting Indian mains like Murgh Palak Kofta, Subz Kaju Makhana Korma, Methi Dal, and Sarson Macchi are complemented by a Goan showcase of Galinha Vindaloo, Lamb Xacutti, Tamdi Bhaji, and Khattkhatte, a warm nod to the region’s coastal roots.

A variety of global stations at the property have a fragrant Thai curry bar and Sushi selection to a Pasta counter and wholesome vegan salads including Broccoli, Chia Seed Pudding, and Vegan Sausage Salad on the menu. The Smoked Salmon carving station, paired with roasted vegetables and classic accompaniments is delicious.

Finish your meal with Milk Cake and Tricolour Ladoos to Lemongrass Crème Brûlée, Green Tea Opera, and Chocolate Banana Pudding with anglaise.
