The zonal Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Sanjay Kumar Patil confirmed the development in the case and said, “An FIR has been registered against Dubey as there was misappropriation of funds during the audit.”

Sources at the Axis bank told mid-day that the currency notes of 2,000, 500, 200 and 100 denominations were found missing from the Naigaon branch of Axis bank during routine audit of cash.
