Mumbai: Gorai vada pav feud turns deadly, 37-year-old killed in attack

A long-standing dispute over setting up a vada pav stall near the "Pagoda" in Gorai turned deadly. What had been simmering for years escalated into a brutal crime that no one had anticipated.

According to police, a senior citizen couple, along with their relatives, allegedly attacked a 37-year-old man with a chopper and other sharp-edged weapons, killing him during a quarrel over the stall. The incident occurred late last night in Gorai.

The Gorai police have registered a case and are investigating the matter further. Police confirmed that both the deceased and the accused, who are residents of Bhayandar, had been running vada pav stalls near the "Pagoda" for years and had been in a dispute over them for the past five years. The investigation is ongoing.
