As many as 11 new Covid-19 cases have been reported in Thane on September 19, taking its infection count to 1,96,514, as per data received by Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
With the addition of the latest cases on Monday, Thane currently has 218 active Covid-19 cases. With one fatality, the Covid-19 toll rose to 2,160.

As per the bulletin, 36 Covid patients recovered, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,136. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.79 per cent.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra on Monday recorded 292 new coronavirus positive cases and two deaths, which raised its caseload to 81,15,834 and toll to 1,48,312, the state health department said.
