The first look and photo session of Mumbaicha Raja, which was scheduled to be held this evening, has been postponed.
The mandal informed Ganesh devotees, photographers, and media representatives about the postponement through a notice, stating that the new date and time for the event will be announced officially.
The updated schedule will be shared through the mandal's social media channels, the notice said.

From the chants of Warkaris to the devotion surrounding Lord Vitthal, the spirit of the Pandharpur Wari is set to come alive at Mumbai Cha Raja this Ganeshotsav. As the iconic mandal enters its 99th year, it will showcase a 22-foot Ganesh idol and decorations inspired by Maharashtra's rich devotional heritage.
The mandal will feature a 22-foot Ganesh idol, with decorations highlighting the traditions, saints, devotional music and spiritual culture associated with the Wari.
Speaking exclusively to mid-day.com, Mandal Vice-President Adwait Padhamkar said the mandal had chosen the Pandharpur Wari as this year's theme to present something distinctive for its 99th year.
The decoration will showcase different aspects of the Wari, including Katha (storytelling), Abhangas and devotional traditions followed by Warkaris during their pilgrimage to Pandharpur.
The theme will also include a Vaikuntha-inspired representation associated with Saint Dnyaneshwar, along with references to the teachings and Abhangas of five prominent saints.
The Mumbai Cha Raja idol will stand 22 feet tall and will be crafted by sculptor Akash Tirmal.
The idol and its surrounding decoration will highlight the connection between Lord Vitthal, the Warkari tradition and the devotion of Mumbai Cha Raja's followers.
Padhamkar said the mandal wanted devotees to experience the Ganpati idol in a grand setting that reflects Maharashtra's spiritual and cultural heritage.
