The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Class 12 results. Maharashtra, in the 2025-26 academic session, recorded an overall pass percentage of 89.79 per cent across all streams.
According to official data, the Konkan division emerged as the top-performing region, registering an impressive 94.14 per cent pass percentage among regular students. In contrast, the Latur division recorded the lowest result at 84.14 per cent.
Gender-wise performance once again showed girls outperforming boys. The overall pass percentage among girls stood at 93.15 per cent, while boys recorded 86.80 per cent, marking a 6.35 per cent higher success rate for female students.
The Maharashtra State Board also highlighted exceptional subject-wise performance, noting that 26 out of 153 subjects recorded a 100 per cent pass rate, reflecting strong academic outcomes in several disciplines.
Students can check their results on multiple official platforms, including results.digilocker.gov.in, mahahsscboard.in, hscresult.mkcl.org, results.targetpublications.org, results.navneet.com and education.indianexpress.com.
Digital marksheets will also be accessible via the DigiLocker app.
Junior colleges will be able to view consolidated results through the official MSBSHSE portal using their login credentials.
The board has also announced that students will be able to apply online for revaluation, verification of marks, and photocopies of answer sheets after the results are declared.
Applications for these services will be accepted through the official website or the respective institutions.
In a separate notice, MSBSHSE has also issued key instructions regarding examination fee payment and the HSC 2026 examination process.
Students can pay their exam fees online between April 3 and April 17, 2026, using a debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking, with a nominal convenience fee applicable.
For the February-March 2026 HSC examinations, candidates must complete online registration and subject selection confirmation within the stipulated time. Schools have been directed to ensure timely completion, while any corrections will require divisional board approval.
The board has also introduced provisions under the Class Improvement Scheme, allowing HSC students appearing in the February-March 2026 and June-July 2026 sessions to improve their performance in eligible subjects as per existing guidelines.
Institutions have been instructed to verify student data carefully before submission to ensure accuracy in examination records.
