As many as 2,000 drones lit up the sky over central Mumbai's Shivaji Park in Dadar during a tribute to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on Sunday evening.
The spectacular drone show was organised at Shivaji Park in Dadar to mark the 135th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.
The event, organised by the Maharashtra Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, featured a large-scale drone display that illuminated the Mumbai skyline and highlighted key moments from Dr Ambedkar's life and contribution to the nation.
Speaking at the event, Maharashtra Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat said Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar's Constitution had made inclusive development possible in the country.

Shirsat said Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar was the architect of India's progress and played a crucial role in promoting education, equality and social justice.
He said society has a collective responsibility to ensure that Dr Ambedkar's ideals reach future generations. The minister also encouraged citizens to develop reading habits to better understand and absorb Dr Ambedkar's philosophy and work.
Union Minister of State for Social Justice Ramdas Athawale and Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar were among the dignitaries present at the event.
Athawale said that Dr Ambedkar's Constitution ensured equal rights and dignity for all sections of society. He added that the innovative drone show offered citizens a unique visual tribute to the social reformer and helped spread his message among the younger generation.
Speaking about the event Maharashtra Minister Ashish Shelar said Dr Ambedkar's ideas based on equality, equal opportunity and social responsibility continue to guide society even today. He described the Indian Constitution as a model for the world and said it has strengthened democracy and justice in the country.
The main attraction of the evening was the grand drone show featuring nearly 2,000 drones creating illuminated visuals in the sky.
The display showcased important phases of Dr Ambedkar's life, the significance of the Indian Constitution and the inspiring journey of the social revolution he led. The synchronised aerial formations drew loud applause from the large crowd gathered at Shivaji Park in Dadar.
