The Central Railway on Thursday announced a special traffic and power block for the commissioning of a new Electronic Interlocking system and dismantling of the old panel at Atgaon station, scheduled from Saturday, June 6, to Sunday, June 7.
The railway administration has clarified that no mega block will be operated on the Main Line of the CSMT-Kalyan section during this period.
The Central Railway's Mumbai Division will operate the special traffic and power block between Asangaon and Thansit stations.
The block will remain in effect from 2 pm on Saturday to 3 am on Sunday. It will be carried out on UP and Down NE lines between Asangaon and Thansit stations, excluding both stations.
Due to the block, the following trains have been cancelled:

⢠12109 CSMT-Manmad Panchavati Express
⢠12110 Manmad-CSMT Panchavati Express
Several long-distance trains will be rescheduled from CSMT or LTT during the early hours of Sunday.

Central Railway reiterated that no mega block will be operated on the CSMT-Kalyan main line section during this period.
Officials stated that the block is essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety upgrades. Passengers have been urged to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
