Central Railway will run 22 special night Mumbai suburban trains on the Main and Harbour lines until Ganesh visarjan to facilitate travel for devotees during the Ganeshotsav festivities.
The railway will operate 18 special night suburban trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Kalyan and Thane on the Main Line on the nights of September 23-24, September 24-25, and September 25-26.
On the Harbour Line, four special suburban trains will operate between CSMT and Panvel on the night of September 25-26, coinciding with Ganpati immersion.
The special trains will halt at all stations between CSMT and Kalyan, Thane and Panvel, as applicable.
On the DOWN Main Line, on September 23-24, September 24-25, and September 25-26, the CSMT-Kalyan Special 1 will depart CSMT at 1.40 am and arrive at Kalyan at 3.10 am.
The CSMT-Thane Special 1 will depart CSMT at 2.30 am and arrive at Thane at 3.30 am.
The CSMT-Kalyan Special 3 will depart CSMT at 3.25 am and arrive at Thane at 4.55 am.
On the UP Main Line on the same three nights, the Kalyan-CSMT Special 2 will depart Kalyan at 12.05 am and arrive at CSMT at 1.30 am.
The Thane-CSMT Special 2 will depart Thane at 1 am and arrive at CSMT at 2 am, while the Thane-CSMT Special 4 will depart Thane at 2 am and arrive at CSMT at 3 am.
On the DOWN Harbour Line on September 25-26, the CSMT-Panvel Special 1 will depart CSMT Mumbai at 1.30 am and arrive at Panvel at 2.50 am.
The CSMT-Panvel Special 3 will depart CSMT at 2.45 am and arrive at Panvel at 4.05 am.
On the UP Harbour Line, the Panvel-CSMT Special 2 will depart Panvel at 1 am and arrive at CSMT at 2.20 am.
The Panvel-CSMT Special 4 will depart Panvel at 1.45 am and arrive at CSMT Mumbai at 3.05 am.
