Train services on the Versova-Ghatkopar Blue Line 1 were briefly delayed on Monday after a technical issue with one of the trains, a Mumbai Metro spokesperson said.

"Train services were slightly delayed as one train was unable to achieve target speed and had to be withdrawn from service. However, operations are continuous and normalised," the spokesperson said.

Despite the disruption, services remained operational, and normal frequency has since resumed.

Meanwhile, the Monorail services were also delayed on Monday morning.

"Due to a technical issue in the rolling stock, train services on the Mumbai Monorail are currently running with delays and increased frequency gaps. Our team is working on resolving the issue at the earliest. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused and request your patience and cooperation," a spokesperson said.
