A minor girl was injured in a hit-and-run incident in Mumbai's Andheri area after being hit by a motorcycle. As per the reports, two people were on a motorcycle that was being allegedly driven on the wrong side. Police officials said that both the accused fled the scene after the accident.
According to the Mumbai Police, the accident took place within the jurisdiction of the Amboli Police Station. The two riders allegedly hit the girl before escaping without stopping to assist her.
The injured girl, who is said to be a minor according to the reports, was rushed to Cooper Hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment. Police have not disclosed her age or the extent of her injuries.
A case has been registered at the Amboli Police Station, and an investigation has been launched. Police officials said efforts are underway to identify and trace the two accused riders involved in the incident.

In a separate incident, three women participating in the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi procession were killed and seven others were injured after a truck rammed into a group of warkaris near the Belsar toll naka on the Saswad-Jejuri road in the Pune district on Monday, 13 July.
The accident occurred near the Belsar toll naka on the Saswad-Jejuri road when a truck accompanying a wari procession allegedly hit a group of warkaris participating in the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi procession. Police are investigating the incident.
Calling the accident "extremely heartbreaking", Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid tribute to the deceased pilgrims.
He said the injured had been admitted to a nearby hospital and were receiving treatment.
Following the tragedy, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar visited the injured pilgrims at the Jejuri Rural Hospital in Pune district and announced Rs 5 lakh financial assistance for the families of the deceased.
Pawar reached the hospital soon after learning about the accident and enquired about the condition of the injured pilgrims. She also reviewed their treatment with medical officers and directed the administration to ensure that the injured receive the best possible medical care.
The deputy CM also said the state government would bear the entire cost of treatment for the injured and extend additional financial assistance, if required.
