After waiting for over a month for the Shiv Sena-led state government to announce relief measures for traders and retailers, the association members have now sought help from the BJP.

They met the Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, with the help of BJP city chief Mangalprabhat Lodha.

The traders have been at loggerheads with the government as it failed to offer any relief package. They want shops and offices to be opened and electricity charges, Profession Tax and local body license fees to be waived off.
