Mumbai is likely to see partly cloudy skies on Sunday, with the possibility of one or two spells of very light rain in the city and suburbs, according to the latest weather forecast.
A high tide of 4.35 metres is expected at 11.59 am on September 27. Another high tide of 4.51 metres is forecast at 12.38 am on September 28.
The city is expected to witness a low tide of 0.48 metres at 6.09 pm on Sunday. The next low tide, measuring 1.02 metres, is expected at 6.20 am on September 28.
Mumbai recorded no rainfall in the 24-hour period from 8 am on September 26 to 8 am on September 27, according to civic data.
The city, eastern suburbs and western suburbs each recorded 0.00 mm of rainfall during the period.
Meanwhile, Delhi woke up to a cloudy sky on Sunday, with the minimum temperature settling below the season's average at 21 degrees Celsius.
The national capital received 5mm of rain from 8.30 pm on Saturday to 8.30 am on Sunday.
The weather department has predicted a cloudy sky with the maximum temperature expected to touch 31 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department stated.
Relative humidity was recorded at 91 per cent at 8.30 am.
The air quality was recorded in the "satisfactory" category at 9 am, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 54, according to Sameer App.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered "good", 51 to 100 "satisfactory", 101 to 200 "moderate", 201 to 300 "poor", 301 to 400 "very poor", and 401 to 500 "severe".
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday issued a warning regarding torrential rain and thunder strikes in Uttarakhand. Heavy rainfall is also anticipated in Himachal Pradesh and western Uttar Pradesh.IMD has predicted rainfall in Delhi over the next three days.
As rains lashed Uttarakhand on Saturday, the Meteorological Department issued a 'red alert' for the districts of Dehradun, Tehri, Haridwar, and Pauri.
The Char Dham Yatra has been suspended in view of the adverse weather conditions.
Meanwhile, temperatures have dropped sharply due to snowfall in the high-altitude areas of Pithoragarh, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, and Uttarkashi.
Due to the impact of a depression formed over north-eastern Madhya Pradesh and adjoining northern Chhattisgarh, heavy to very heavy rainfall -- and in some places, extremely heavy or exceptionally heavy rainfall -- is expected in Uttarakhand and parts of northern Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.
