The 33-km Aqua Line, stretching from Aarey JVLR to Cuffe Parade, comprises 27 stations, 26 underground and one at-grade

The first stretch, spanning 13 km from Aarey JVLR to BKC, was opened to the public on October 7, 2024. This phase marked the initial operationalisation of Mumbai’s first fully underground metro corridor

The second phase, covering 9 km from BKC to Acharya Atre Chowk in Worli, became operational on May 10. This extended connectivity further into central Mumbai, bringing the project closer to full completion

The final stretch from Worli to Cuffe Parade will now complete the corridor. The line currently serves about 70,000 passengers daily

A visit to the 11 remaining stations showed that most entry/exit gates, CCTV cameras, escalators, and signage are ready
