PHOTOS: Massive fire breaks out at Andheri

The blaze erupted at a film set installed at Chitrakoot Ground next to the Andheri Sports Complex around 4.30 pm. Plumes of black smoke were seen billowing from the spot. Pic/Anurag Ahire

The fire brigade managed to extinguish the fire in about 30 minutes. There were around 50 to 100 workers inside the studio while the incident occurred, an official said. Pic/ Anurag Ahire

Apart from Mumbai fire brigade officials, Mumbai Police officials, traffic police, BMC ward staff, water department, fire brigades, and electricity officials rushed at the spot, the official said. Pic/ Anurag Ahire
