A 25-year-old youth died when an unidentified vehicle hit his bike on Jayanagar 5th Block, near Sri Sathya Sai Circle at 11.30 pm yesterday.

The victim, Tarakesh, received severe head injuries and was declared dead on arrival at KIMS Hospital. An officer said that the vehicle could have been a car.u00a0
Tarakesh was working with a software firm. He was on his way back home after finishing his shift.
A relative who wasu00a0 at the accident spot said, "He used to come home by 12.30 every night.
Luck was not on his side today." The body has been shifted to the KIMS Hospital for post-mortem.
