Of the two, one person's condition reported serious

Two young men were injured in a two separate incidents as their motorbikes skidded at different places in the city on Thursday late night. Both of them were admitted to Sassoon General Hospital.

In the first incident Rajendra Gaikwad (24), a farmer from Shivapur village on the Pune-Satara highway, was injured near Katraj Ghat tunnel at 11.45 pm on Thursday. He sustained serious head injuries and was brought to the hospital by his relatives. After the CT scan, he has been advised for a head operation by Dr Tushar Tonde, CMO, Sassoon Hospital. Doctor said that he had a brain edema (swelling) due to the mishap.

In another accident Vasim Rahim Momin (27) a resident of Indira Nagar at Gultekdi was injured. He sustained many scratches on his face, head and other parts of his body. Momin was brought to the hospital by his friends. The accident took place at Kondhawa road where he bike skid.
