Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi led a grand roadshow in Patna on Sunday evening, marking a significant moment in his campaign for the upcoming Bihar Elections 2025. The roadshow, which began from Dinkar Golambar, saw PM Modi accompanied by Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh 'Lalan' of Janata Dal (United), Bihar Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Dilip Jaiswal, and Patna Sahib Member of Parliament (MP) Ravi Shankar Prasad.

As PM Modi's vehicle slowly made its way through the city, crowds of enthusiastic supporters lined the streets and gathered on rooftops, eagerly waving and cheering. The streets were decorated with saffron flags and flower petals. Women, in particular, were seen capturing moments on their phones, showering petals on Modi's vehicle, and even performing ‘aarti' as the PM's convoy passed by.

The roadshow covered nearly 3 kilometres, passing through Nala Road, Thakurwadi, and Bakarganj, before concluding at Udyog Bhavan, near Gandhi Maidan.

Along the route, folk dance performances, including the traditional Sama Chakeva, were staged on small podiums, adding to the cultural vibrancy during the roadshow.

PM Modi has been campaigning for National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates for Bihar Elections 2025. Patna is set to vote in the first phase of polling on November 6. The PM had previously held similar roadshows during last year's Lok Sabha elections and another after the ‘Operation Sindoor' earlier this year.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi addressed an election rally in Nawada, where he highlighted the NDA's promise to provide an additional Rs 3,000 to farmers in Bihar, along with the existing PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. He emphasized his government's commitment to small farmers, stating, "Jinhe koi nahi poochhta, Modi unhe poojta hai" (Modi worships those whom no one else cares about).

He also took a dig at previous governments, accusing them of neglecting small farmers. "Governments after independence did not prioritise small farmers. But this is Modi, jinhe koi nahi poochhta, Modi unhe poojta hai," said PM Modi.

He also claimed that his government has invested Rs 650 crore to assist 2 lakh farmers in Nawada.

"We opened bank accounts for farmers, and they get the amount for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi in those bank accounts. The poor farmers have received Rs 20,000 crore. In Nawada, Rs 650 crore has been deposited in the accounts of 2 lakh farmers," PM Modi said.
