Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday took responsibility for discrepancies related to the CBSE's On-Screen Marking (OSM) evaluation process and assured strict action against anyone found intentionally responsible for irregularities affecting students.
Pradhan also said that issues related to students and examinations should not be politicised.
"As far as this issue is concerned, I myself take responsibility on behalf of the government for any inconvenience, and I request everyone that this is not the time for politics. Politics can be done later," he said.
Pradhan on Thursday chaired a meeting with CBSE officials to address technical and payment-related issues faced by students during the re-evaluation and verification processes.
Meanwhile, amid the controversy over its On-Screen Marking System, the CBSE on Thursday asserted that it was a "secure and robust IT platform" and that no compromise or vulnerability has been reported in the actual evaluation portal.
