Woman dies, five critical after C-section at Kota hospital

One woman died while the condition of five others deteriorated due to complications following caesarean (C-section) deliveries at a government medical college and hospital in Rajasthan's Kota, officials said on Wednesday.

Following complications such as low blood pressure, falling platelet counts, and urinary blockage, the five critically ill women were shifted to the nephrology ward, while the newborn babies were moved to the NMCH ward, Superintendent Dr Nilesh Jain said.
