A team from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on Thursday recovered a body from the debris of a building that collapsed at a waste management facility in Pimpri Chinchwad near Pune, officials said.

The three-storey building, located near a waste-to-energy plant at Moshi, collapsed on Wednesday afternoon after a large mound of garbage crashed onto it. Several workers were trapped under the debris following the incident.
According to officials, seven people were rescued from the debris within hours of the collapse, while two more survivors were pulled out after midnight.
A senior NDRF official said a body was recovered from the site on Thursday morning as teams continued searching for those still trapped.
"We suspect that 7 to 8 people are still trapped under the debris. We have spotted two persons who are motionless and appear to be seriously injured. We have to remove the debris manually as machines could create vibrations and make it unstable," the official said.
Officials said rescue teams are working carefully due to the unstable condition of the collapsed structure.
Rajendra Wable, Dean of Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital in Pimpri, said the deceased person was identified as Bhavesh Wani.
According to Wable, Wani was brought to the hospital from the accident site but was declared dead by doctors.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Ganesh Ingale said rescue operations are continuing to locate and save the remaining victims.
Employees of Antony Lara Renewable Energy, which operates the 14MW power plant in partnership with the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, were among those trapped in the collapse.
The civic body said 23 people were initially believed to be trapped under the debris. Five of them managed to come out safely before rescue teams started the operation.
The rescue efforts are being jointly carried out by the NDRF, the Indian Army, the municipal fire brigade, the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority's fire brigade and police teams.
Moshi Pradhikaran, where the incident occurred, is a planned neighbourhood in Pimpri Chinchwad city near Pune.
Officials said the collapsed building was located close to a large pile of old accumulated waste.
Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Vijay Suryawanshi had earlier said the incident may have been triggered by heavy rainfall.
"The building stood next to a mountain-like pile of legacy (old) waste. Prima facie, it appears that due to heavy rains, the waste mound became loose and collapsed onto the building like a landslide," Suryawanshi had said.
Authorities said rescue work will continue until all trapped people are located.
