Parts of Rajasthan on Tuesday witnessed moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds, the weather department said.
According to the MeT office, from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, Bhilwara recorded 32 mm rainfall, followed by 24.2 mm rainfall in Churu, 11.6 mm each in Kota and Fatehpur, 11 mm in Pali, 7.4 in Sri Ganganagar, 7 mm each in Sikar and Chittorgarh.
In the past 24 hours ending 8.30 am on Tuesday, Shahpura in Jaipur district recorded the highest rainfall at 68 mm.
The rainfall activity has led to a drop in maximum temperatures across the state.
Barmer recorded the hottest with 41.7 degrees Celsius, followed by 41 degrees Celsius in Phalodi.
Most of the cities across the state recorded maximum temperature ranging from 28 degrees Celsius to 39 degreesCelsius.
The maximum temperature was recorded 1 to 6 degrees below the normal temperature in the corresponding period in the past.
The state's capital, Jaipur, recorded a maximum temperature of 34.6 degrees.
