Pradeep Mahto (24) and his brother Binod (20) from Fatehpur Village in Lapung, Ranchi District, and Mohit Munda (22) of Govindpur Village in Khunti District died in the inferno that ravaged a North Goa club post-midnight on Sunday

The state migrant control room's team lead, Shikha Lakra, who received the bodies at the airport, told the media, “The Labour Department has ensured that two of the family members of the victims who are still stranded in Goa are brought back to Ranchi by a flight in the evening."

The mortal remains of the two brothers were cremated on the banks of the Karo River in Lapung, around 60 km from Ranchi

The bodies of Mahto, Binod, and Munda, who used to work at the nightclub, were brought back to the state in the morning by a flight

Goa Chief Minister, while asserting about the unfortunate incident, said that "A preliminary inquiry, however, indicated that the fire started on the first floor, and due to congestion and small doors, customers could not move out." Some of them rushed to the ground floor and got trapped there"
