Several INDIA bloc lawmakers protested in the Parliament House complex for the ninth consecutive day on Friday against the Election Commission's voter roll revision in Bihar, and demanded its rollback. However, a few minutes after the proceedings started, the Opposition began protesting against the Bihar electoral roll

The ruckus prompted Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to adjourn the House till 2 pm 

After the proceedings of the Lok Sabha were adjourned, Congress MPs Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra met Birla and raised the issue of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in poll-bound Bihar
