IN PHOTOS: Emergency services kick in after three Delhi schools receive bomb threats

At least three schools in the national capital, including two CRPF schools and a Navy Children school, received bomb threats on Monday morning, prompting authorities to heighten security in the city. The threats were later declared 'hoax' by authorities (PICS and text: ANI and PTI)

Authorities carried out a thorough check of the school premises later and declared the threats to be a hoax, as nothing suspicious was found

The Delhi Fire Services said a fire tender each was rushed to the schools. "It was declared a hoax after a thorough check by multiple agencies, including the fire department," a fire official said

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh said, "Early on Monday morning, Dwarka North police station received a PCR call informing about a bomb threat at CRPF School. The area was promptly sanitised. Local police, sniffer dogs and bomb disposal squads reached the school and conducted due checks"

DCP (Rohini) Rajeev Ranjan said, "We received a call from the school around 8 am. After nothing suspicious was found on the premises of CRPF School in Prashant Vihar, it was declared a hoax

Additionally he also informed about the cyber police experts ascertaining the source of the email.

"Security has been tightened in the school. Nothing suspicious has been found so far," the DCP said.

Police personnel are continuously seen keeping a vigil eye ensuring utmost security and protection to the schools
