Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Sunday expressed confidence that Chief Minister M K Stalin will return to power after the elections, stating there is "no doubt" about it

Addressing a massive rally in Viralimalai Assembly constituency in Pudukottai district, he urged the electorate to break the "remote control" Delhi uses to try and control Tamil Nadu

Udhayanidhi attacked the opposition, specifically targeting incumbent MLA and AIADMK candidate C Vijayabaskar by calling him a "drama company actor", who is part of a "slave group" being threatened by the CBI and ED

Campaigning at Thilagar Thidal in Pudukkottai for DMK candidate Muthuraja, he alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is trying to enter Tamil Nadu by using the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) as a "mask," and questioned whether the people of the state would allow it

He called Edappadi K Palaniswami a “puppet” of PM Narendra Modi, alleging Centre’s control over Tamil Nadu

Udhayanidhi Stalin listed DMK schemes like women’s rights benefits, free breakfast, and student financial support. He said DMK will raise women’s aid to Rs 2,000, offer Rs 8,000 appliance coupons, and increase student aid to Rs 1,500

Udhayanidhi Stalin further alleged that the Centre has not provided adequate funds to Tamil Nadu and even withheld dues, adding that the state was ignored in the Union Budget

Tamil Nadu will go to the polls in a single phase on April 23 across 234 constituencies, with counting scheduled for May 4.
