Dan Rivera, a prominent paranormal investigator from Connecticut and longtime handler of the infamous Annabelle doll, passed away unexpectedly on June 13 while touring in Gettysburg. The news was confirmed by the New England Society for Psychic Research.

Rivera was widely known for his role in the popular "Devils on the Run Tour," where he and fellow society members travelled across the U.S. with the allegedly haunted doll, captivating audiences with its eerie legend.

Emergency services, including firefighters and paramedics, responded to a hotel in Gettysburg on Sunday night following reports of a man receiving CPR. Despite their efforts, Rivera could not be revived.

A key figure in the paranormal community, Rivera helped bring international attention to the tour. Partnering with fellow investigator Ryan Daniel Buell, he created viral TikTok videos featuring Annabelle, which amassed millions of views and further amplified the doll's chilling reputation.

Many social media users responded with shock and discomfort
