The Pakistan cricket team, scheduled to take part in the ICC Women's World Cup may have to play their matches in Odisha, following threats from Shiv Sena to disrupt their matches in Mumbai

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) nominated three venues for the Pakistan team. Odisha emerged as the front-runner to host Pakistan.u00a0

Bangalore and Kolkata are the other two venues reported in the media.

Suru Nayak, BCCI's cricket operations manager, informed MiD DAY about the options. "We have given the ICC (International Cricket Council) three options. Let them decide where they want to hold the matches," he said.

In such a scenario, all Group B matches which include Pakistan will be shifted to the ICC-desired venue while Group A games which include India will be held at four venues across Mumbai.

The ICC is likely to take a decision today after working out the logistics.u00a0
