Jasprit Bumrah is riding a crest of a wave after having made an impressive contribution in Mumbai Indians' victorious Indian Premier League-10 campaign. MI won their third IPL title in five years when they edged out Rising Pune Supergiant in the final at Uppal, Hyderabad on Sunday.

Bumrah managed to live up to expectations as he grabbed 20 wickets for his IPL franchise, including two in the final and ended up with an economy rate of 6.50 in the final. Mumbai Indians bowling coach Shane Bond, who knows a thing or two about yorkers himself, hailed Bumrah. "It makes me look good when he bowls the way he does. He is probably the best one in our team to bowl the pressure overs, because he has got the skills and the temperament to do so," said Bond.

It spoke volumes of MI's faith in Bumrah when he was given the responsibility of bowling the Super Over against Gujarat Lions. And he didn't disappoint, managing to defend 11 runs, cementing his reputation as a death-over specialist. "We had to tweak our bowling attack, and have Bumrah bowling at the back end," Bond added.

"When you start to base your attack around a bowler like Jasprit, that shows his quality. I think he will definitely play Test cricket and can be a world-class bowler across all formats."

Despite Bumrah's grand IPL show, skipper Rohit Sharma chose not to lacquer him with his praise brush. "I'd prefer not to say that he (Bumrah) is the world's best T20 bowler. I would like him to continue doing well. All those things (praise) will only add pressure on him," Rohit said.
