The IPL is all about power-hitting with batters smashing fours and sixes from the first ball, and that's what people want to see and enjoy, reckoned SRH spin-bowling coach Muthiah Muralidaran after SRH comfortably chased down MI's massive 244-run target with six wickets and eight balls to spare at the Wankhede on Wednesday.

The former Sri Lankan off-spin great also admitted that it's not feasible to expect a fair wicket for bowlers or bigger boundaries. "I don't think pushing the boundary [ropes], when the ball is flying over them everywhere, [will change things]. If we provide fair wickets, spectators might say it has become boring because T20 followers want entertainment, they want to see fours and sixes. That's why the tournament is built like that - with an extra player [Impact Player] to come in and bat. It's big business, with sponsors and everything, so you will lose sponsors and public interest [if you change it]," Muralidaran said at the post-match press conference on Wednesday night.
