India women's cricket team star Jemimah Rodrigues posted a heartfelt message to her mother Lavita on the occasion of her birthday on Thursday.

Sharing this picture of her family to her 3.9 million Instagram followers, the batter captioned the post: "Happy Birthday mumma! You're the reason our family stands strong. The greatest blessing I pray for you is that God continues to keep that big smile on your face."

Rodrigues, who was part of the Indian team that lost a three-match T20I series to England recently, will next be seen in action for India at the T20 World Cup in England and Wales, beginning on June 12.
