Shreyas Iyer marked Rakshabandhan with a touching tribute on social media, celebrating the special bond he shares with his sister, Shresta. Amid rising chatter around his potential return to the Indian cricket team, the post offered a glimpse into Iyer's personal life.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Iyer shared a cheerful photograph with Shresta, simply captioned, 'Happy Rakshabandhan'.

Following a strong showing as captain of Punjab Kings (PBKS) in IPL 2025, Iyer has been working hard behind the scenes to reclaim his place in the Indian team. After a turbulent period marked by injuries and a dip in form, the Mumbai-born cricketer has strung together a series of consistent performances over the past few months. Under Iyer's leadership, Punjab Kings scripted one of their most memorable IPL campaigns in recent history, reaching the final for the first time in over a decade.
