Swami Vivekanand International School (Kandivli) claimed its maiden Harris Shield title at the Bombay Gymkhana on Thursday. Al Barkaat MMI English School needed 169 runs in 40 overs to win, but they fell short by only two runs. SVIS's bowling heroes were off-spinner Prasoon Singh (4-52) and medium pacer Swayam Sail (4-58) Admiral K Swaminathan, AVSM,VSM, Chief of Staff, Western Naval Command and former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar gave away the prizes to the players of the 126-year-old tournament.
