Team India's wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant emerges as Uttarakhand's highest taxpayer

India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who is known for breaking records on the ground with his aggressive batting, has also set a new benchmark off it. He has become the highest taxpayer in the state of Uttarakhand for the 2025-26 financial year - having paid a whopping Rs 23.84 crore.

Pant, 28, who is a Delhi player, but lives in Uttarakhand, was the state's highest taxpayer last year too, at Rs 10.5 crore.

The main reason for Pant's high tax figure is his Rs 27 crore price tag for Lucknow Supergiants in IPL 2026.
