Frankie was first introduced to the whole of India by the Tibb's frankie owner, Surinder Kaur Tibb and Amarjit Singh Tibb (Pic: Instagram/tibbsfrankies)
Once, Amarjit was watching a Test match between Team India and the West Indies. During the match, former Caribbean cricketer, Sir Frank Worrell, smashed a maximum, to which the crowd was cheering "frankie....frankie" (Pic: X/@ICC)
Inspired by the cheers, Amarjit came up with an idea to name the wrap 'Frankie'. Over the years, Indian food enthusiasts have been in awe of the wrap, which combines Lebanese pita bread and the Indian 'masalas' (Pic: Instagram/tibbsfrankies)
