Goals from Raphinha and Fermin Lopez helped Spanish champions Barcelona mark new signing Rodri's La Liga debut with a 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao on Thursday to continue their perfect start to the season.

Raphinha rounded the goalkeeper and slid the ball home in the 37th minute to give Barca the lead before Lopez doubled their advantage in the 82nd-minute.

"I'm very happy to play my first game, and happy with the victory. I felt pretty good, but it's important for me to keep building up the rhythm and adapting to this great team," said former Ballon d'Or-winner Rodri.
