Double delight for St Anne’s High School at MSSA tournament

St Anne's High School (Malad) had a day to remember as they bagged identical 1-0 wins in the boys U-16 and U-14 group stage matches of the Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) World Cup Fiesta inter-school football tournament at Azad Maidan on Thursday.

In a boys U-16 Pool ‘D' match, skipper Kayden Vaz scored the winner (2') for St Anne's by chipping the ball over goalkeeper Arnav Rane of Thakur Public School (Kandivli) to book a quarter-final spot.

Meanwhile, in a boys U-14 Pool ‘D' tie against Bombay Scottish School (Mahim), St Anne's captain Safwan Duduke (18') netted the winner to help his side clinch all three points.
