Frank Lampard is ready to start a family with his wife Christine

Former Chelsea star Frank Lampard's wife Christine revealed that she is looking forward to starting a family, now that her footballer husband has retired. However, the 38-year-old, who is stepmother to Lampard's daughters Isla (nine) and Luna (11) from his previous relationship with Elen Rivas, said that she's in no hurry though.

When asked about having kids, she told Daily Mail: "Frank has retired, so we are getting used to a new routine. And because we have the girls as well, we have a lot of kiddie stuff in our lives, but we will have to wait and see."

"We have had a great time since we got married, without sounding like a love-struck teenager".
