Both finalists, five-time champions India and two-time reigning champion, Bangladesh exuded confidence to win the SAFF Women's Championship, with the final to be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium here on Saturday.
Addressing the pre-match media conference on Friday afternoon, Team India head coach, Crispin Chettri said, "We have the "josh" and we will go all out to win this important title which we last won in 2019. As it is the finals, we will be playing our best team."
Chettri expects Bangladesh to come at Team India all guns blazing. "Bangladesh will also play their best team and will come at us very strongly. But we are prepared for the challenge," he added.
Bangladesh coach Peter Butler was happy with his team's preparations. "We had a light training session this morning and our team is motivated to do well. Our girls have made the finals for the third consecutive time and that is extremely creditable," Butler said.
