India's chief table tennis coach Leszek Kucharski will no longer be part of the team

The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) has decided against renewing his six-month contract which was valid till the Olympics.

"Most Indian players were not satisfied with his way of coaching. They were issues interacting with them. So keeping the players interest in mind we will not be giving a contract extension. Having said that, he is a very knowledgeable coach and was a great player," TTFI secretary general Dhanraj Choudhary told IANS yesterday.

Choudhary added they would be approaching the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) for a new coach.
