Tennis ace Serena Williams gets her own Barbie doll!

Women's tennis great Serena Williams has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles in her illustrious career, but one of those triumphs has now been immortalised in a unique way. Her 2005 Australian Open victory has inspired a Barbie doll.

The global fashion doll franchise has recreated Williams, 45, as part of its Role Model series, with the doll sporting the lime green and white outfit she wore during her title-winning run in Melbourne. The doll was released on October 8.

In a video posted by Barbie on Instagram, Williams, a mother to daughters Alexis and Adira, said she was "especially excited" about the release because her girls love playing with Barbies.
