St Peter’s Cup hockey: Junaid strikes for Warriors

Warriors SC beat Independent SC 3-1 in a men's seniors league match of the St Peter's Cup hockey tournament at the St Stanislaus turf, Bandra, recently. Junaid Coutinho, Nitin Dhika and Roy Lewis struck a goal each for Warriors while Vivek Panchal pulled one back for Independent.

In a boys U-16 match, Republicans drew 1-1 with Don Bosco (Matunga). Deepak Yadav scored for Republicans while Samarth Singh netted the equaliser.

In another match, Artic Super Boys drew with Hockey Navi Mumbai 0-0.
