India's men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty stormed into the semi-finals of the Thailand Open, while PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen bowed out in the last eight on Friday.
The top-seeded Indian duo dominated Japan's Takumi Nomura and Yuichi Shimogami, winning 21-12, 21-13. This marks their first last-four appearance at a BWF World Tour event in 2026.
Earlier, Sindhu went down 21-19, 18-21, 15-21 to Japanese top seed Akane Yamaguchi, while later in the day, Sen lost 19-21, 16-21 to home hope Kunlavut Vitidsarn.
